These photos are of home-made jewelry that the artist asked me to photograph for her. What I learned from this was that you may not like everything that you have to photograph, but you can combine it with other pieces and make a photo that you like. I liked working on this project because it was fun to put everything together in different ways and see how the pictures turned out.

This was a baby photo shoot. She was a very happy baby and fun to photograph! I learned that babies don't always do waht you want, but you have to work with what they are doing instead of forcing them to do what you want.

These are all cakes that I have helped to make. The top was a birthday cake and the last two are wedding cakes. I love working with fondant and have made many cakes in the past. The last cake was difficult because of the size, it was hard to know how much fondant to use!

These photos are a photo-shoot that I took of my best friend. I love the abstract feeling that they have. It was difficult to get her to be serious.
This is Jones Soda. I like this picture because of the contrast. Also because in my photography I like it to be really random, I love to just pick out random objects and make it into art.

These pictures are of the process my art class took to paint our school mascot in the center of the football field.

This is a dress that I made out different colored duct tape. I started with a garbage bag and built the dress up as I liked it. There are three separate pieces to the dress, and a bow in my hair also made from tape!
This drawing is of a scene in our garden. It was my first charcoal drawing. It was a fun learning experience. It was difficult to show detail with the carchoal.
This surrealistic painting was painted on poster paper. Painted with tempera paint.

This is a still life drawing, drawn from observation.

The first drawing was my practice self-portrait. The second is my final (un-finished) and the last is my final product. I drew my self portraits looking in a mirror.
This drawing is a few pieces from an abstract drawing of the time line of my life.
This was a grid drawing; the assignment was to find a picture in a National Geographic magazine and make it at least 2 times bigger. I drew this with pencil and charcoal.
This is a painting I painted on a canvas with acrylic paint. It was difficult to paint the reflection on her face!

This is a head I made out of Sculpee and tin foil. First I had to mold a shape out of tin foil that cover it with the Sculpee and mold the features such as the nose, eyes, and tongue.

This picture was taken with the help of a friend. She was blowing on the dandilion as I snapped the picture. I love all the details in this photo. It was difficult to actually take the picture, it took many tries!
